Manufactured between 1961 and 1969, the A60, which was an upgraded Cambridge model, was powered by the new 1.6 litre four cylinder engine, produced 61 hp.
A total of 276,534 models were built until production ended in 1969 and the Austin Maxi took its place.
Known as the Farina, the A60 was slightly longer and wider than the A55 which it replaced, and can be distinguished by the chrome side strips which sometimes also had contrasting colour infills.
The A60 was a very affordable family car of its time and would have set you back £883 (inclusive of £278 taxes).
The Farina body style was available in either Austin or Morris Oxford variants
