Code named the AD017, the 1800 another one of the British Leyland cars that was manufactured with many different badged variations, namely Morris, and Wolseley. Produced between 1964 and 1975, the BMC 1800 was voted the European Car of the Year in 1965, which goes to show what a popular and practical car this was in its day.
When the 1800 was launched it was fairly unconventional in its design, having a ribbon style speedometer rather than the conventional round dial type.
Loved by many in its day, the 1800 is a very rare sight today at many Classic Car shows, and when you do see one, it immediately attracts attention.
